Maria: Maria Capazario is a professional photographer, businesswoman, mother of two and godmother to many.
Born in Ermelo, South Africa, Maria has been passionate about photography since childhood. She started clicking while still at school and somehow, ‘angles’ to her did not have quite the same meaning as to her maths teacher.
After completing matric, Maria went on to study photography at the Vaal Triangle Technikon (now known as Vaal University of Technology). And after a stint with a professional photographer to gain the necessary experience, Maria started her own studio in 1984.
She lives in Pretoria but travels (almost) everywhere where there’s a picture to be taken.
